You know those books that you start reading and you can’t put down, no matter what’s happening?
You bring them into the bathroom with you, you stay up way past your bedtime and it’s the first thing you grab in the morning when you wake?
I do! And I would love to share my list with you!
I’m a huge dystopian novel lover and it’s been a long time since I’ve found another one that I like (so if you have any suggestions for me, feel free!)
I’m sure some baby/pregnancy books will be showing up on this list soon!
Best Dystopian Novels
Aldous Huxley: Brave New World
George Orwell: 1984
Ray Bradbury: Fahrenheit 451
Franz Kafka: In the Penal Colony (It’s a short story and if you’ve never heard of it, it’s a bit dark. You’ve been warned.)
Best Fantasy Novels
Stephen King: The Dark Tower Series (Can’t speak highly enough about this series!!)
Best Thriller Novels
Gillian Flynn: Gone Girl (If you haven’t read this yet and you like thrillers, you HAVE to read this book! It’s worth all of its hype. Her other books are so-so.)
This is going to be an ever-expanding list and is in no way comprehensive.
If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!
